- #606 Beheeyem:
- Beheeyem, the Cerebral Pokemon. It can manipulate an opponent's memory. Apparently, it communicates by flashing its three different-colored fingers.
Beheeyem seems to be a favorite of ^Black^, as evidenced by his avatar. I personally find Beheeyem to be less useful than rival 5th gen Psychic-types such as Reuniclus and Sigilyph. With sort of meh-ish stats besides Sp. Attack... ugh.
Abilities:
Telepathy: Useless in Single Battles. I guess it's useful in Double and Triple Battles, as it prevents getting hit by Surf, Earthquake, Discharge, Lava Plume, etc.
Synchronize: Pretty useful for bouncing status back, I guess.
Analytic: Considering that Beheeyem has a terrible 40 base speed, this could have some use. A 1.3x attack boost could be useful, I guess.
Movesets:
Analyzing Data...
Ability: Analytic
Item: Life Orb/Expert Belt/Wise Glasses
Psychic/Psyshock
Shadow Ball
Hidden Power [Fighting]
Thunderbolt/Energy Ball/Charge Beam/Recover
EV's: 252 SAtk/128HP/128Def
Quiet Nature (+SAtk/-Spd)
Psychic is a powerful STAB attack, while Psyshock prevents Blissey and Chansey from walling you. Shadow Ball for rival Psychics and Ghosts, HP Fighting for Darks and Steels. The last move is unimportant. Thunderbolt and Energy Ball are just powerful. Charge Beam can boost Sp. Attack. Recover is good for recovering lost HP, as you're moving last to hit harder.
Life Orb makes you even stupidly powerful (pair it up with Recover). Expert Belt and Wise Glasses also boost your attacks, albeit weaker.
Choice
Ability: Synchronize/Analytic
Item: Choice Specs
Psychic/Psyshock
Shadow Ball
Hidden Power [Fighting]
Thunderbolt/Energy Ball/Charge Beam
EV's: 252SAtk/128HP/128Def
Quiet Nature (+SAtk/-Spd)
If I have to re-explain these moves, I'm pulling my hair out. I'm just gonna say, you're powerful now. Just don't run Recover.
Other Options:
Calm Mind, Nasty Plot, Trick Room, Toxic, Thunder Wave, Reflect, Light Screen, and Light Clay.
Calm Mind can be used to boost Sp. Atk and Sp. Def, but Reuniclus does it better.
Nasty Plot... again, if you can survive... have fun.
Trick Room works wonders with Beheeyem's terrible speed. But Reuniclus... oh never mind!
Toxic and Thunder Wave can cripple a Pokemon, but Beheeyem is just wasting its time.
Reflect, Light Screen and Light Clay... can support well, but... *coughReunicluscough*
Partner Pokemon:
A good Fighting or Bug Pokemon works well, with Steel if you can. Lucario is probably best, but you can also use Scizor, Durant, and many more. If you're running Trick Room, Escavalier is a must.
Double and Triple Battles:
Beheeyem has Telepathy. And some support moves. It's still terrible, though.
Counters:
Escavalier "out-slows" Beheeyem, and resists most of Beheeyem's moves. Say hello to X-Scissor, Beeheeyem! Steels that don't take too much damage from HP Fighting work too. Dark Pokemon can switch in on Psychic/Psyshock and destroy Beheeyem. Blissey and Chansey can wall any Psyshock-less Beeheeyem and wall it. 'Nuff said.
Locations in games:
Route 14, evolve Elgyem.
Anime appearances:
Beheeyem has yet to appear in the anime.
- #26 Raichu:
- Raichu, the mouse Pokemon. Its tail discharges electricity into the ground, preventing it from getting shocked.
Raichu... the symbol of B46Delta - er, Deltalon - HyBrIdIzAtIoN... whatever. I own one named B46Delta in my FireRed game. It's pretty interesting - some say that it has sub-par stats - but you know what, I like it...
Abilities:
Static: Useful for the hax factor (I hate it sometimes), but considering you're mainly going to be hit with Earthquakes... um... meh.
Lightningrod: Finally got the update. Now you can switch into Electric-type attacks and boost your Sp. Atk.
Movesets:
Delta strikes again!
Ability: Static / Lightningrod
Item: Life Orb / Expert Belt / Air Balloon
Thunderbolt / Volt Tackle / Volt Switch
Grass Knot / Hidden Power [Ice] / Focus Blast / Brick Break
Grass Knot / Hidden Power [Ice] / Focus Blast / Brick Break
Grass Knot / Hidden Power [Ice] / Focus Blast / Brick Break
EV's: 128Atk/128SpAtk/252Spd
Naive Nature (+Spe, -SpDef)
Thunderbolt and Volt Tackle are your main STAB options, but Volt Switch can be used for scouting. Grass Knot and Hidden Power [Ice] help hit Ground types... Brick Break and Focus Blast are just filler.
Life Orb for power. Expert Belt also for power. Air Balloon if you hate Earthquake.
Other Options:
Surf, Nasty Plot, Charge Beam, Electro Ball, Discharge.
Surf can be used because it's a PBR gift, but... the Hardy nature isn'y worth it.
Nasty Plot and Charge Beam can be used to boost Sp. Atk.
Electro Ball and Discharge, are in my opinion, gimmicks.
Partners:
Anything that can laugh in the face of Earthquake. 'Nuff said...
Double and Triple Battle Options:
Weak to Earthquake, and with nothing to offer, just get a better Pokemon...
Counters:
Anything that has Earthquake or any other powerful attack, anything that is resistant or immune to Electric, anything that isn't too vulnerable to any other attacks.
Locations:
Evolve Pikachu
